                                                                total:   807 km / 22.897 vm

This stage tour starts in Menton at the Mediterranean sea. So close to Monaco i really would have liked to put the Col de la Madona as our opening climb, as a dedication to Lance Armstrong who used this climb as his trainingscol. After de Madona we would have to take to col de Braus and that would result in a 3000 vm opening stage after a night of driving without sleep. That would kill off most of our group members on day one!

After the Finestre the route continues taking up Giants: the Mont-Cenis and the Iseran are again very long climbs. This tour contains only 2 roundtrips. Lot's of stages so a lot of variety and adventure, but also a lot of packing and building camp.

This route has the most vertical meters but given the fact we need many drivers most of us will not pass the 20.000 vm in 8 days.
