Day 7 is planned as a day to recover of 100 km, but there is also a long alternative (the Grand Tour) of 175 km with much more elevation meters.  From Allemond at the foot of the Alpe d'Huez we will ride to the hart of the Vercors. This recovery ride has only one climb of about 850 meters to Lans-en-Vercors. After Villard-de-Lans we will enter and enjoy the Gorge de la Bourne, to end up in Pont-en-Royans.
